No one should have to go through the nightmare of battling cancer, let alone a child. We are blessed in the Tampa Bay area to have multiple facilities to help children forced to take on such a life-changing event. It's not just about defeating the disease. It's also about giving them a sense of normalcy in a world characterized by fear and pain.

The Children's Cancer Center is a special place for kids and their parents. Founded in part by Jan Judisch in 1974, (the doctor who diagnosed RJ Prieto with ALL leukemia) the CCC has been a light in an otherwise dark world for thousands of families. Not only does the facility provide families for a place to go during treatment, they also have a wide variety of programs and events developed specially for families to promote togetherness and a positive attitude. Whether it is music therapy or a camping trip, the CCC is there to keep the philosophy of its founders alive. When a child is diagnosed with a disease, the entire family is diagnosed.
